At the beginning of the year I posted that I thought that the Guardians had a very deep farm system, maybe the deepest I can remember, with guys from #1 all the way to #100 having real potential to make it to the majors. We're 2/3 of the way through the full season minor league schedule and we've completed play in the rookie (Arizona and Dominican) summer league seasons and this has changed dramatically. Aside from DeLauter, Genao and Kayfus, no one has stood out. Instead of being filled with guys having breakout seasons, this list is full of guys who are injured or have shown regression. Only a couple of other guys (Robert Arias, Ingle and Alfonsin Rosario) have significantly overall positive seasons.
